♪ Halloween, Halloween! ♪

It's that time of year again!
And I don't know about you guys, but I love Halloween. *o*
There's something about it that just screams pure awesome.
The sheer atmosphere is just amazing. <3

I don't know if I've ever mentioned this here, but...

I absolutely love horror/thriller/suspense movies. It's weird though, because although I enjoy them, I'm ALWAYS the one who ends up being the most scared. I'm always the one who ends up having to leave the lights on at night, and I'm always the one who can't leave my room after.

Oooh how I love it though~
The adrenaline rush is just crazyayay. I love the thrill. ^.^

Which brings me to the main point of this journal:

Whether or not you're into scary movies, everyone has that one moment, or that one movie that.. however old you were, scared the freaking crap out of you.

What's that one movie or movie moment that terrified you? What's/was your Halloween-esque fear?

Is it random murderers with hooks?
Being locked into a room and having to find a way out before you decide to saw your foot off?
Ghosts?
Demons?
Hauntings?
Technology?
Being stuck in a hotel and being chased through a maze by someone with an ax?

...Zombies?

To be fair and to give you guys some sort of incentive to answer, I'll share with you all mine.

...Because it's utterly terrifying.
And it still frightens me today.
I honestly can't look upon that demented, smiling face without feeling the hairs on my neck stand.

If there's one thing I hate about Halloween it's the fact that EVERY year, CHUCKY comes back to haunt me through the windows of every Halloween-esque store. He peers through some window in every mall I've been to with those lifeless eyes, that scary smile, and those stitches ridden all over his ugly face. OH-- and when I'm really, really lucky, someone'll pick one up justtttt as I'm passing those accursed windows and he'll laugh that freaky laugh and say...

"Wanna be my best friend?"

...

... .. ....

No, really. That's my Halloween-esque fear. Chucky-- and ANY other kind of haunted/possessed/evil doll. (*coughROBERTTHEDOLLcough*)

And you know what's really funny?
The first time I saw Chucky was in a commercial for the movie Child's play. I don't know if it was a re-release or whatever (since I wasn't born yet when it came out) but...

I was alone in my house around Halloween. It was past midnight, and I was still pretty young at the time. Now, you can imagine how a little girl felt--looking to watch SAILOR MOON only to have some HORRID,UGLY FACE suddenly POP UP on the screen.

...Yeah, I was terrified of the stupid doll before I even watched the movie. lol.

Laugh if you must.

It was only in highschool when I finally decided to face my Halloween-esque fear and watch it. LOL

For those of you who aren't familiar with Chucky and want to know what the heck I'm talking about, go to google. Type in one word. "Chucky". ...And they'll send you thousands of pictures of his demented, hideous face.
